Nowadays business need a number of services to keep the cogs moving smoothly. It does not matter if your business is a sole trader or a limited company there are many areas that you have to consider from health and safety, H&S to contract law is huge. It may be best that these different specialities are divided down into different
departments.
In a smoothly run business different departments would have responsibilities for various sections these might include, the facility department who have a host of subjects to keep in check from sorting out COSHH storage, car rental, pat testing, medical supplies, electrical contractors, air conditioning installation and maintenance to maintaining the smoking shelters.
Information Technology and Business
The IT department makes sure the IT equipment properly, they also have a
number of other demands on their time, the IT department must know that they have information security, and that the computers can be properly maintained. Whether it is a rackmount server or a basic kvm switch, the IT department need to feel that they can get the components quickly.
There are a lot of aspects of the company to consider when planning the relationships you need to start with suppliers and systems you will need to put in place. Such as information assurance, ensuring you have made backups of work and data for example in case the originals are lost as your company grows the list will grow with it.
